Stamped Concrete

Stamped concrete is concrete that is created to provide the look of stone, brick, slate, tile, and even wood-almost any texture your imagination can create. First, normal concrete is placed in the usual manner. Then, a color or combination of colors is applied, which not only adds to the beauty of the finished product, but also increases the "wear" factor not achievable with regular concrete, due to the coloring agent's hardening characteristics. An antiquing agent is then applied, followed by the stamping process, with the stamp of your choice. After a curing period of about 14 days, a sealant is applied and your project is complete. Concrete provides the perfect base for creating an economical reproduction of more expensive materials, yet still maintaining a very natural, and authentic look.
